About Yasin comes from a Muslim background and lives with both of his parents. His father works as a Muslim Cleric supporting multiple wives. His mother sells fruit at home in order to supplement the family income. He has three older siblings, two sisters and a brother who are all attend ROA. He is the last born out of the four.
